Planning for green infrastructure and urban forestry takes time; it’s complex and requires considerable personnel and fiscal resources. Convening organizations should commit for the long haul and at the outset describe the process, time-frame, and key milestones for planning. Without regular communications and scheduled meetings to make real decisions, the process could stagnate and participants will drift away.
